People don’t remember the place. They remember how they felt.
I never really meant for Daara Pari to be a 'resort' (I'm terrible at hospitality corporate-speak anyway). It is simply my home that I decided to open up. My family, BB Daju, and I don't provide 'service'—we provide care, and occasionally, friendly unsolicited advice.
When BB Daju cooks, he feeds you like you're his own. That honesty cannot be designed.
Portrait of Sristi
"I didn't want to build a hotel. I wanted to build a place where people could just... stop. Where they could walk the village, eat food from our earth, and feel the kind of quiet that heals."
I envisioned Daara Pari not as a commercial venture, but as an extension of authentic village life. I try to curate every aspect of my property with a deep respect for the land and our people.
My philosophy is simple: keep it raw, keep it real, and let the mountains dictate the pace of the day.
